About Bergstrom Skegs
A proud history of innovation
Since 1976, Bergstrom Skegs has had a proud history of creating innovative and economical products for the snowmobile market with an emphasis on safety. In 2018, brothers Clark Wilson and Clayton Wilson purchased Bergstrom Skegs from the retiring Scott Bergstrom. Clark and Clayton are avid snowmobilers and have used Bergstrom Skegs products for years. Their goal is to continue offering products that improve the control and safety of snowmobilers.Â
The present and future of Bergstrom Skegs
Since 2018, Clark and Clayton have been working to deliver the same innovative products while improving delivery and customer service. Covid and supply chain issues have presented challenges that we continue to work through. In late 2020 we introduced this web site to reach a wider market and make it easier to find and purchase Bergstrom Skegs products. It is an evolving process.Â

Scott Bergstrom and his father started Bergstrom Skegs with the introduction of hardsurfaced wear rods, which lasted 3 to 5 times longer than standard rods. Through the years that followed, Scott introduced many innovations to the snowmobiling industry. Scott retired in 2018.Â
