Rubber Dampers (often called stops, dampeners or just rubbers) are often overlooked, but are an extremely important piece of your sled. They provide a cushioning effect for your equipment by absorbing much of the impact as you ride. They provide support for your ski’s spindle and extends the life of your equipment by reducing wear and tear on your skis and spindles. Worn or damaged spindle dampers can damage your equipment, and more importantly, seriously impact the way your sled handles. Time to replace them!
Bergstrom Skegs dampers are made of an extremely durable material that will last far longer than most OEM or third party rubbers, and feature built-in shims, eliminating the need for adding shims.

Superior rubber dampers feature a built-in shim
Unlike OEM or after-market stops, the Bergstrom Rubber Dampers feature a built-in shim which helps eliminate darting by pushing the back of the ski down, leveling the ski and allowing the entire wear bar to contact the ground. Steering effort is reduced, giving total control back to the rider.
When used with our Ski Savers, darting can be completely eliminated!
