B11-A Note:Â We don’t put a 90 degree bend at the front of the wear rod because we don’t believe you should have to use a hammer to install wear rods. Â Also, if the bend is not absolutely perfect, you would have to grind the rod to make it fit. Â We do cover enough of the hole, so snow will not come through it.

These factory wear rods’ front bend does not fit into the ski because it is not on the same plane as the bolt. The 3/8″ bolts are difficult to install into the 3/8″ holes in the ski.
Also, the factory rod bolt spacing was incorrect.
